Course information – Ultimate Lash Course

Our comprehensive, 2 day training course will teach you everything you will need to become a successful lash artist - weather you are looking for a change in career, or wish to start a new side-hustle, we have it covered!!

Included in the price of our course, you will receive a free lash kit, containing all the essentials to get you started on your lash journey!

Our course covers all aspects of classic, hybrid and volume lash techniques, including:

• Best practice
• Client consultation
• Contra-indications to lash treatments
• Correct Patch testing method
• Sample consultation form
• Understanding growth cycles and structure of the hair
• Pre-treatment preparation
• Correct styling of the eyes
• Lash mapping with curls and lengths
• Classic lash application
• Hybrid lash styling and application
• Understanding and applying correct lash diameters and weights
• Volume fanning techniques and application of pre-made volume fans
• Appointment timings
• Infills/maintenance
• Choosing the right adhesives and how to dip correctly
• Temperature and humidity
• Allergies/reactions to adhesives
• Removal of extensions – Banana peel and pop-off method (also complete removal)
• Contra-actions and client aftercare advice

You will also have the opportunity to try out the brand new UV Beamlight lash system!  A pioneering new method of lash application that removes up to 80% of client allergies, improves retention and eliminates the need to avoid water for first 24 hours!

Lunch is included (dietary requirements will be requested prior to training).

The course runs over 2 days, from  9.30am – 4pm.

Model required for PM session of day 1 - classic lashes. 1pm – 4pm *From past experience, we find it is better for you to bring someone you feel comfortable with and that you know has reasonably strong and healthy lashes for you to work on.  Your model will need to come in for a patch test 24 – 48 hrs prior to treatment. 

Model required for PM session of day 2 -  light volume/hybrid lashes. 1pm – 4pm (same applies as above).

Your ideal model will have fairly straight lashes that are dark enough for you to see easily.  It is a lot easier to lash someone who does not have hooded eyes (although you will eventually need to practice on all eye shapes and age groups!)  Your model should be prepared to lie still for approximately 2 – 2 and a half hours, and be able to keep their eyes shut for the whole of that time.  We recommend that they avoid caffeine on the day (or at least for a few hours before they arrive) as this can make the eyelids fluttery and twitchy!
